Garber
- ca 1908-1912-

Garber photo taken by Dean S. Mallory ca 1908-1912

My Granddad Dean S. Mallory (b. 1891- d. 1977) took this picture of  Garber.  He had his camera when he was a young man from about 1908 to about 1912.  All of these buildings are long gone.  My granddad stood in front of the old Garber R.R. station when he took this picture up the street.

L-R:
Peter Flarity's Saloon
, a Resturant, Anna Bap's store - all 3 under the first white front
M. J. O'Connor's Black Smith Shop.
C. Schneifs Store - the last building in the photo; later,  the  foundation was used for the old brick bank that burned, and now is where the Anchor Inn stands.

The team and buggy (on the left in the photo) belong to R.B. Palmer (called Uncle Det Palmer).
